Claire Bertin-Lang has over a decade’s worth of experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on spirits and food wine events. A native New Yorker, she began tending bar at one of New York’s classic dives at the age of 19. After graduating from Georgetown University, CBL spent four years working as a sales and marketing strategist for a large supplier before moving to the consulting side, executing major projects, beverage programs, and trade and consumer events for a variety of spirits brands and agencies both large and small.

CBL Liquid Consulting was founded in 2011, focusing on event management and brand development. In addition to representing a handful of brands in the New York area, CBL executes events around the country: serving as the Beverage Director for Eat Drink SF; working to produce the Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards; and running Mixology programming for the International Chef’s Congress.
